herniated disc pain
You can have a herniated disc anywhere in the spine, but the most common areas are the low back and the neck. A herniated disc (sometimes referred to as bulged, slipped or ruptured) is when a fragment of the disc pushes out and puts pressure on the spinal cord or nerves around the disc. This can cause severe pain in the region and arm or leg pain, depending on the severity of the disc rupture.
Some people refer to the leg pain of a herniated disc as sciatica. Our chiropractic physicians are well trained in treatment of herniated discs and offer conservative gentle care to help relieve you from pain.
Our office also carries the only FDA approved FX 635 cold laser that has been approved for neck and low back pain.
